Men walking together outdoors — RCVRY HOUSE sober living Omaha

Omaha, Nebraska — Structured Sober Living for Men

WHAT TO EXPECT AT RCVRY HOUSE

Recovery becomes more sustainable when each day has purpose, structure, and real support. Here's an honest look at what life at RCVRY HOUSE is actually like.

A Place Built for This

More Than a Place to Stay. A Framework for Real Life.

RCVRY HOUSE is a structured sober living residence for men age 19 and older who are actively participating in an outpatient treatment program — PHP or IOP — in the Omaha area. We bridge the gap between the structure of residential treatment and the independence of everyday life.

Every man who comes through our door is working toward the same thing: a stable, sober life built on real habits, real relationships, and real accountability. We give you the environment to do that work — and a community of men who are doing it alongside you.

The Program

Three Phases. One Direction.

The RCVRY HOUSE phase system gives participants a clear path toward greater independence. Each phase builds upon the previous one by increasing responsibility, trust, and personal freedom. Advancement is earned through consistent actions and demonstrated readiness — not simply by spending a certain number of days in the house.

01

Foundation

Orientation & Stabilization

Build a daily routine, connect with your Recovery Coach, and start showing up consistently — to treatment, to the gym, to your responsibilities.

02

Growth

Greater Independence

Pursue employment or education, take on more personal responsibility, and develop the life skills that independent living requires. Advancement is based on conduct and demonstrated readiness.

03

Independence

Preparing for Life After RCVRY HOUSE

Work with your coach on a concrete transition plan — housing, employment, support network, and ongoing recovery resources. The goal is to leave with the habits and tools to stay sober.

Advancement through the phases is earned — not automatic. Your Recovery Coach reviews progress with you individually.

More Than a Place to Live

You Won't Navigate This Alone

Every participant at RCVRY HOUSE is supported by Certified Recovery Coaches — men who have walked this road themselves and are here to walk it alongside you.

This is peer-based recovery support. Not clinical therapy. Not a treatment center. A community of men who understand what this work actually takes — and who show up for each other every day.

Is RCVRY HOUSE Right for You?

Who We're Built For

RCVRY HOUSE is designed for men who are serious about their recovery and ready to do the work. We're not the right fit for everyone — and that's intentional.

Men age 19 and older transitioning from residential treatment, PHP, or IOP
Actively enrolled in or willing to enroll in an outpatient treatment program (PHP or IOP)
Committed to sobriety and willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing
Working part-time, in school, or actively pursuing employment — expected as you progress, not required on day one
Ready to participate in house meetings, recovery meetings, and community activities
Willing to follow the house schedule, rules, and phase system

RCVRY HOUSE is not a detox facility, treatment center, or crisis stabilization unit. We do not accept men who are actively using substances or who require medical supervision.

Protecting the Community

A Safe House Is a Non-Negotiable

Every man in the house depends on the integrity of the community. These are the standards that protect everyone.

Zero Tolerance for Substances

Any use of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs results in immediate discharge. No exceptions.

Daily Breathalyzer Testing

Every participant is breathalyzed every morning and every evening. Random testing occurs throughout the week.

Random Drug Screening

Urine drug screens are administered randomly and without advance notice throughout the week.

No Weapons

Firearms, knives, and other weapons are strictly prohibited on the property.

No Guests After Hours

Overnight guests are not permitted. Daytime visitors must be approved in advance.

Curfew Enforced

Curfew is enforced and varies by phase. Participants must be home and checked in by curfew each night.

Common Questions

QUESTIONS ABOUT RCVRY HOUSE?

Yes. RCVRY HOUSE is designed for men who are actively participating in PHP or IOP, or who are in the process of enrolling. We bridge the gap between structured treatment and independent living — treatment participation is a core requirement of the program.

The monthly fee is $1,500 and covers everything: furnished housing, basic food and groceries, gym membership, transportation support, one-on-one recovery coaching, weekend outings, random drug and alcohol testing, recovery meetings, and community activities. There are no hidden fees or add-ons.

Length of participation is individualized. We discuss an anticipated timeframe during admissions and review it as each participant progresses toward greater independence. We encourage men to stay as long as their recovery requires — not to rush toward independence before they're ready.

Any use of alcohol or substances results in immediate removal from the house for a minimum of 72 hours. To be considered for readmission, the participant must complete a detox program. Readmission is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed. This policy exists to protect every man in the community who is working hard to stay sober.

Yes. Family visits are welcome and must be arranged in advance. Visits take place during designated visiting hours. We believe healthy family involvement supports recovery, and we work to make that as easy as possible.
